Nonprofit Solutions Consultant (Sales)

The Nonprofit Solutions Consultant is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle of new customers, from prospecting to close. You will utilize outbound techniques (emails, cold calls, social media outreach, networking events & conference attendance) to build and grow your pipeline, perform lead qualification, conduct demos, and close deals.

In this role, you will need to understand the nonprofit space, potential clients, their pain points, our software, and how it can help nonprofits raise more funds, effectively manage volunteers, save costs and improve productivity.

This position lays the foundation for a successful high-tech sales career and is perfect for someone who wants to lead a sales team in the near future!

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for people who find fulfillment in a role empowering nonprofits to be more effective and accomplish more.

  • You understand the nonprofit sector, specifically fundraising, donor relationships, and volunteer management.
  • You have at least 3 years of a proven track record of success selling software to nonprofits or fundraising/major gifts as a top performer.
  • You understand CRM functionality and have the ability to explain all technical aspects with customers/potential clients.
  • You have proven ability to build rapport quickly with new people - in writing, in-person, and by phone.
  • You can demonstrate proven success in lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiations, and closing deals/bringing on new clients.
  • You are not afraid of wearing many hats and are willing to experiment with new methodologies.
  • You always talk with a smile and genuinely enjoy conversing, presenting, and collaborating with others.
  • You are motivated by large commission checks and bonuses when exceeding your quota.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for a geographic territory and all nonprofit organizations located there of which we seek to partner.
  • Immerse yourself in the nonprofit community, become a trusted advisor for nonprofit organizations, and serve as an expert on common software needs and pain points.
  • Utilize a wide range of outbound tactics to connect with leads to build a pipeline of sales opportunities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach (primarily LinkedIn).
  • Schedule and conduct all online and live demonstrations of the software, check-ins, follow-ups, and other deliverables for closing, and win at minimum 20%+ of deals.
  • Consistently practice data hygiene within CRM which includes maintaining tasks (clearing tasks, creating new tasks when needed), and documenting detailed notes of each call/interaction with your account.
  • Conduct research and consistently update contact information for existing leads while maintaining accurate and up-to-date notes and opportunities.
  • Effectively deliver high forecast accuracy and pipeline management and achieve your sales quota.
  • Provide detailed reports on pipeline status and ROI.
  • Research, plan, and attend nonprofit-specific conferences* to increase brand awareness, connect with potential leads, and build relationships and your pipeline. *(Not guaranteed, but could be upwards of two/year)
  • Research, plan, and attend networking events to connect with potential leads and build relationships and your pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Client Success teams, contribute to strategy development and overall culture of Giveffect.
Compensation Package
  • OTE $82,000 - $200,000 USD
  • Bonus (2 times/year)

SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist

You will be responsible for understanding and working within a team to maintain and enhance our entire online web presence. The ideal candidate will work closely with the content team to plan and execute strategies to enhance lead acquisition. You will be the subject matter expert on SEO and SEM with technical skills to create & implement marketing strategies using the latest tools and techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Strategize, plan, budget, launch, and scale the overall marketing presence and brand-awareness.
  • Identify how to reach target audiences (nonprofit organizations) for our proven product, and develop clearly defined strategies and tactics to drive awareness and sales for the business.
  • Publish all brand communications content, from newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, press releases, etc.
  • Create, handle, and own a monthly social content calendar to deliver optimized content for each platform using applications such as HubSpot and Mailchimp.
  • Manage and execute social media strategies on social channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter (X), and Instagram).
  • Stay on top of the latest social trends, new platform features, and best practices across all social platforms and other new media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing team to disseminate content to meet objectives, including but not limited to case studies, infographics, videos, reports, white papers, etc.
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Design and optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with the Sales team to understand how our inbound marketing activity converts to customers, and continually refine campaigns to improve results.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
  • Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
  • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
  • Optimize website content, updating the site using CMS software.
